Zatino Travel has worked between Ireland and China for a decade — moving delegations, business leaders, trade representatives and cultural groups in both directions. This page is what that work actually looks like.
Programme leadership
Patrick McCarthy (Pat)
A leader in cross-cultural exchange, Pat has lived in China since 2012 — first teaching English in Liaoning province, then building trade, culture and investment connections between Ireland and China. He leads the institute's Ireland–China programmes.

Past programme
Ireland Business Discovery Tour
An eight-day programme run with the Ireland China Institute, covering Dublin, Cork, Dundalk and Galway. Combines business briefings, company and industry visits, tax and legal sessions, professional networking and cultural immersion.

Pivoting to Asian Markets

Delegation
World Wudang Tai Chi Conference, China
Zatino Travel facilitated the participation of Irish travel trade representatives in the 2024 conference in China — a wellness-tourism and market-access connection that strengthened ties with the Chinese travel market.
Event
Beijing Tourism Promotion, Dublin
Coordination support for Beijing's tourism promotion event in Dublin — cultural and destination marketing between the two countries.

What we can arrange
Both directions, properly handled.
Inbound to Ireland: business discovery visits, company and industry callers, tax and legal briefings, delegation logistics and cultural programme. Outbound to China: trade events, industry visits, market familiarisation and conference participation. Same team, same attention, whichever way the group travels.

Delegations we have worked on
